FELLOWS MODEL 10-4 / FOUR AXIS CNC (FANUC RETROFIT) GEAR SHAPER

BUILT NEW: 1980s Machine is offered Reconditioned & Retrofitted as follows:

•Both upper and lower worms and wheels will be inspected, replaced if necessary and adjusted fo
proper back-lash and bearing pattern
•Cutter spindle bushing will be refit to factory specifications
•All bearings, seals and belts will be replaced with new components that meet or exceed factory
specifications.
•Relay electronics will be upgraded to a state of the art Fanuc Model 21 I four axis controller
with color display.
•The hydraulic infeed system will be replaced with a ball screw and AC servo motor.
•The hydraulic and lube system will be combined into a single compact unit integral with the ma
hine.
•Work table ways will be re-ground and the table hand scraped for proper bearing patterns
•All parts will be inspected and replaced when necessary
•Machine will be striped, cleaned, body filled and painted
•Machine will be cycled and ready for an under power demonstration
