The slope of the 20 loading table can be adjusted to permit controlled rolling of round bars or sliding of shapes and rectangular stock. Loading cams orient and transfer the various material sh
pes one at a time onto the infeed roller track. They are always positioned for optimal clamping and the shortest cutting path. The bar feeding mechanism consists of a hydraulically traversed pusher
carriage. Infeed rates up to 130 ft./min. are possible. This concept enables positive infeeding at highest possible speeds. Maximized production rates especially for long cutoffs, is assured.
