This lathe has obviously seen limited use because the bedways are totally
without score marks of any kind. The backlash in the leadscrews is virtually
impossible to detect and as close to zero as could be.

Other than a few cosmetic blemishes this machine appears as mechanically "new"
as it could be, and considering that it is being sold for less than the price
of most 16 x 40" Chinese machines that lack its features or high quality
construction standards, it merits the scrutiny of serious and quality-
conscious buyers.

The replacement cost of a new 20" x 80" Romi model very similar to this one
is $41,170.
