General Operation & Description of the Coating Operation:
This is a two step coating system for metalic, non-ferrous,
and non-metal parts of all types which includes a vacuum sputtering
operation & Wet Solvent type top coat spraying operation. There are
two sputtering & two top coating operations performed on the parts.
Parts enter the Sputtering application Room (Clean Room) hanging on
work racks transported there via a horizontal roller conveyor system.
The loaded work racks are loaded into a vacuum sputtering chamber
where a Stainless Steel (SST) Pre-Sputtering application is applied
to the parts. The loaded Racks of parts are then transported to an
Automated Spray Top-coat paint Booth (Conforming Matrix) for
application of an Acrylic type Base Coat followed by a UV Cure. The
Racks are then returned to the Clean Room for the Final application
of a SST Sputter Coat in the Vacuum chamber. The Racks (Parts) are
then conveyed to the Second Automated Top Coat Paint Booth
(Conforming Matrix) where the Final Acrylic Top Coat is automatically
applied and the UV Cure tanks place - The Racks of finished parts and
then conveyed to an off-load area for packaging. The finish achieved
in this operation is that of a 'High-end Architectural Quality' Finish!

SPECIFICATIONS & DESCRIPTION:
Design part capacity: ( Work Rack Size ) - 8" Dia x 48" Long
This work rack is loaded with many parts of various sizes and shapes
Work Fixture: For the Vacuum Sputtering Chamber operation - the Racks
are loaded onto a work fixture
The work Fixture is: 36" D x 55"L - this fixture holds eight (8)
work racks
