This is a standard Leblond engine lathe that has been modified and converted to an OD grinding operation. The carriage and cross slide have been modified by removing certain parts. The original scr
ws were replaced with servo drive ball screws and an Anilam 3000M control. The quick change gear box system, X & Y axis screws, top compound assembly, carriage lower apron assembly, threading system
and end quadrant change gear system have all been removed from the machine. These parts have been discarded and are not with the machine. The Anilam 3000M 3-axis cnc system was installed on the mac
ine in year 2007.
