In machining operations, grinding, drilling, and boring operations it will

handle up to three machines in simultaneous operation if they are closely

grouped.

This combination Chip-Mist Collector is designed for use in machining,

drifting, boring, screw machining, and grinding operations where there are

quantities of solid materials mixed with coolants, where a mist collector can

not operate efficiently.

In operation, mist, mixed with chips or moisture laden particles, is sucked

into the Dustkop where the solids are separated from the airstream and then

deposited into a 55 gallon drum. From the Dustkop clean air is forced upward

into the Aget Mist Filter where the moister is separated from the air and the

residual is carried by a tube into a container or one of the sumps of the

equipment.

This combination unit is designed for those operations where chips covered

with oil, wet dust, and other particles of this type are created and are an

air contaminate.

Salvage of waste materials is possible when they are of value, in a 55 gallon

drum which is a standard container and can be replaced at a small cost.
