STANDARD FEATURES
SWIVEL HEAD
The swivel sawhead lets the user to cut at any angle between 90 and 45
degrees. The precision pivot system facilitates easy and accurate adjustment

for angle cuts. The Cosen C-20NC's mitering saw has a protractor and pointer

in clear view and away from any chips covering the numbers. Cosen's C-20NC

requires no tools to make angle changes.

By storing up to 20 jobs using the SNC-20 System, including the cut lengths

and quantities desired, the machine automatically cuts the entered lengths and

number of parts. The Automatic Material Retract feature moves the material

back away from the blade at the end of the cut so the blade doesn't scrape

against the material when the saw frame lifts at the end of each cut. Any job

or jobs can be called up at any time, saving valuable shop time. All machine

functions are controlled from the operator's station. The control panel is

located for convenient use by the operator.

BLADE SPEED CONTROL
The standard blade speed control provides infinitely variable blade speeds

from 102 fpm thru 377 fpm to accommodate all types of materials. Cosen offers

an optional infinitely variable blade speed system utilizing an inverter drive

and a 3HP drive motor. The blade LED Blade Speed Indicator is conveniently

located on the operator's station.

FULL STROKE VISES
The Machine (Front) Vise and Index Vise incorporate full stroking cylinders to

provide tight clamping of any material from the operator's station. This

eliminates the operator having to hand position the vise when material sizes

change.

OPERATOR'S CONTROL STATION
The operator's control station is conveniently located on the front right side

and is very user friendly. All operator controls are positioned on the top of

the control box for ease of operation. All controls are clearly labeled. The

machines electrical components are located within the control box with the

main lockout disconnect on the front of the control box for safety and easy

maintenance.

POWERED CHIP BRUSH
The powered chip brush removes the chips from the blade, maximizing

productivity and extending blade life.

AUTOMATIC MATERIAL FEEDING
The hydraulically actuated index vise and feed cylinder will accurately

position the workpiece to the pre-selected length with a single stroke of 0"

thru 23". The SNC-20 System permits any length up to 650"

BLADE BREAKAGE DETECTOR
The Blade Breakage Detector will automatically safely shut down the machine in

the event of a broken blade.

PIVOT & TRUNION
Rigid and Heavy Duty pivot and trunion insure long machine life and accurate

cuts.

AUTOMATIC WORK HEIGHT & FAST APPROACH
Automatically adjusts the saw head to the proper height regardless of material

size, and moves the saw head in a rapid approach mode until it is

approximately 1/8th inch from the workpiece and then automatically engages the

pre-selected feed pressure and feed rate as determined by the operator.
