The machine offered will be manufactured using the following technology:

A. AAC-AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENT FOR CONES - Constant parallel leveling
control of movable rolls by MASSIVE MECHANICAL TORSION SHAFTS
without any of the adjustments and re-balancing required by hydraulic

leveling systems.

B. PSG-PLANETARY SWING GUIDES - Eliminating all friction common to
vertical, diagonal or horizontal sliding guide systems and requiring
absolutely no adjustment.

C. ALS-AUTO LUBE SYSTEM - No more ordinary greasing and lubrication for all
the life of the machine by specially protected, screened and full-life
pre-greased components.

D. ESS-ENERGY SAVING SYSTEM - Replacement of all low efficiency components
(reduction unit, high friction bronze bushings, mechanical drives, gears,
belts joined arms, sliding guides, etc) by new high energy efficiency
drives (planetary gears DIRECT DRIVE COUPLED to the rolls, planetary
swing guides). Anti-friction RIV/SKF Floating roll bearings, central

multi-way electro/hydraulic power motor) allowing hard reduction of load

losses (passive power) keeping the real force available on the plate to
bend (positive power). energy saving system conforms to the "International

High Efficiency and Anti Pollution" rules and standards.

All steel structural welded frame construction (often no foundation required)

Hydraulic drives with infinitely variable speeds automatically adjusted by
progressive controls (hydroelectric valve machines excluded)

Plate is driven by high-energy efficiency hydraulic motor/planetary drive

eliminating secondary reduction gears, chains, synchronization devices and

clutches.

Instantaneous drive stop of rolls by hydraulic over-center valves.

Side-forming rolls controlled by hydraulic cylinders with infinitely variable
speed (hydroelectric valve machines excluded)

Automatically controlled side roll parallelism mechanical controlled by
"TORSION BAR SHAFTS"

Top roll is cambered to compensate for deflection

Automatic balancing of top roll (to open the machine)

All rolls mounted on RIV/SKF SPECIAL floating 2 crowns rolls bearings with
automatic self-alignment

All three rolls forged carbon steel grade C43 (up to 106,000 PSI)

Double pre-bending accomplished through separately adjustable side forming
rolls

Pre-bend both edges of the plate without removing it from the machine and
turning it

Full hydraulic powered movements

NOTE: Rolling metal is unique in that you are typically working with a great

many variables. In the normal rolling process, light material, relative to a

machine's full capacity, may require shimming to avoid having an hourglass

defect. Heavy material may require shimming to avoid a barrel defect. These

two situations exist on all rolls at either extreme of their capacity

WARRANTY: Twelve months from date of receipt of machine for the repair or

replacement, at the manufacturer's option, of defective parts at no charge
F.O.B. Los Angeles and the return of the defective parts freight prepaid to

Simi Valley, CA within 30 days from the date of shipment. This does not

include labor. All electrical items carry the warranty of the manufacturer

from whom they were purchased, which on some items is 30 days. No

reimbursement will be made for repairs of any kind unless prior authorization

is given. Urgency will not be accepted as an excuse.
